Baby Sleep Timer app good for
Nice app! The reason why Im not giving it 5 stars is that the figures in "Averages" for sleep length and awake time should be displayed separately for day and night. A "change sleep start time to now" button for the day time mode would also be nice.
Great app! Very simple and it gives you an idea when baby regularly naps so u can plan housework/cut naps etc!
This app is exactly what I was looking for, as I needed to have a clear idea of my babys sleeping patterns before and after working on some sleep improvement strategies.
I love the graph and the daily summary. The app is simple to use. The sound recorder is a great idea, especially for when Im to tired to notice times on night wakings.
Still, a few things could be improved to make this app even better:
• If switching to night mode didnt stop the previously running timer (or offered the option to continue ongoing timer or not); I prefer to manually enter the information when Im awake, but Id like the night monitor to take over without interruption once I go to bed.
• If it were possible to write down the notes after starting the timer as well as in the completed logs, whenever the information is freshest.
• If the graphs could display wake and sleep patterns starting at time of awakening or putting down for the night instead if midnight, so as to see the whole night on the same line (easier visually).
Thank you for a great product!
This is a great app! I really wish the sleep pattern page would scroll though, instead if only letting you see the last seven days on the graph. Perhaps this could be addressed in an update?
Helpful app to track naps and babys sleep patterns! It would be great if you could manually add any missed naps during the day however. And I would like it if you could analyze day sleeping and night sleeping separately. Overall a useful tool.
Fantastic! Really helped me learn what his natural schedule was. Love this ap!!
Some bad moments
I decided to download due to the reasonable price. However the analyze graph is messed up and needs fixing.
Good concept but huge flaws that prevent me from even using this app.
The first day and a half of logging was great. Im a visual person so I bought it for the chart feature. When I got over 24 hours in, the chart started to read the previous day as my baby having slept for the full 24 hours, even though the logs are correct.
On addition, when I go to add new logs, it takes me three times of entering the info correctly for it to actually show up under logs without just disappearing.
Huge glitches that prevent this app from having any purpose for me. I rarely buy paid apps and this is why. It was a huge disappointment.
I paid good money for this app. Why is it still on the old screen resolution? Seriously unprofessional.
I purchased the feed app a week or so ago, and was thinking how it would be handy to track sleep, too, when suddenly this app became available! I like the straightforwardness in using this, and especially find the charts helpful to see babys sleep patterns.
I took off one star because it would be easier to use if "sleep" was part of the feed app, so one doesnt have to switch back and forth between apps to log the different activity. Other than that, great app!
This was very helpful to us as our child began to consolidate naps and we were looking for a pattern in his sleep. Also helped me to be able to talk with our pediatrician about how he was sleeping. Easy to use and much easier to visualize than creating my own sleep log.
I love the idea behind this app because its hard to keep track of when and how long my infant naps everyday. I like that you can look back and see trends in the babys sleep patterns. However, it needs at a few more features in my opinion.
1. Having the timer run all the time to show the time between naps isnt realistic and its draining my battery. I wont be analyzing the babys sleep everyday, so Id like to be able to stop that timer when Im not using the app. As it is, if I dont use the app for a day or two (say for instance when theres a special event that I know will mess up my babys sleep patterns) it will keep running and say that its been 89 hrs since my baby last slept. It messes up the data when you go to use it again.
2. Id like to be able to pause the sleep timer as well. Im trying to help my baby take longer naps, so when she wakes up after 20-30 minutes, I go to her and help her fall asleep again. Her nap isnt technically over (hopefully), but shes not sleeping either. I dont want the timer running, but I dont want to make it look like 2 naps when it should be just one.
3. Id like a pull down menu with options to record where the baby napped (crib, car, bouncy seat, arms, etc.)
These fixes would take this from an ok app to a great one!
